Solid Waste Information
The City of Ladysmith provides solid waste pickup for city residents and businesses.
Residential:
Garbage and refuse to be picked up needs to be properly stickered as follows:
- $1.00 Refuse Sticker on each 8 gallon or less capacity garbage bag
- $2.00 Refuse Sticker on each 9-15 gallon garbage bag
- $4.00 Refuse Sticker on each 16-35 gallon garbage bag
Refuse Stickers are available for purchase at the following locations:
- Krist Oil Co
- Eastmart
- Circle K
- City Hall
Please be advised that the City of Ladysmith will be increasing the prices of garbage stickers effective January 1, 2026, as follows:
- 8 Gallons or Less: $1.50
- 9 to 15 Gallons: $3.00
- 16 to 33 Gallons: $5.00

Costs for Dumpsters:
- 2 Yard Dumpster Annual Fee $203.62 (includes Sales Tax) plus .08/lb for refuse; rate increase effective 1/1/18; .10/lb
- 3 Yard Dumpster Annual Fee $251.09 (includes Sales Tax) plus .08/lb for refuse; rate increase effective 1/1/18; .10/lb
